Why won't my HDTV recognize my Xbox 360?
I just bought a new HDTV and it will not recognize my Xbox 360. However, it will recognize my DVD player so I know both ports and the cable are good. But for some reason when I plug in the Xbox it says Not Supported. This is a new Visio HDTV with 1080pi. I have no idea why it won't recognize it. Any suggestions?

First, don't buy Vizio products. I know people has had problems with it and their are a lot of customer complaints online. Second, if your Xbox 360 is hooked up via HDMI, set your input to HDMI 1, HDMI 2 or whatever it is. If you Xbox 360 is hooked up via Composite, which is the red, yellow and white wires, set your input to Composite or A/V. If your Xbox 360 is connected via Component, which is the green, blue, two red and white wires, set your input to Component.

some tv types will not work. no worries. you can use another tv if you have one. 360 does not recognize some latest electronics. updates should come out soon. that is my advice. if you need more, ask.
