How is pokemon black and white compared to pokemon diamond and pearl?

I gave my Pokemon Diamond gave away a while ago but I remember the plot a little, I have my Platinum game however. I had to look up a little bit for the part for DP

When it comes to graphics and new parts Pokemon black and white rule. The plot gets deep at the end and you feel sorry for what was supposed to be your antagonist. He's really a sweet guy. The ending is dramatically beautiful. Not to mention the rotating battles are hard and the triple battles add a new spin, because the position of your Pokemon is now more important. Not to mention BW has so many different camera angles and the Pokemon can MOVE. And if someone near you is playing one of these games and has their C-gear turned on you can do a lot of things without moving from you location in the game to go to a poke center (it may depend on where you are however) . Random Match up is great when no one is there for a quick battle and you think anyone will do. Not to mention B and W have many differences between each other. B has Black City and is more urban, W has White Forest and is more rural.

Pokemon diamond and pearl is nice too. You have a really rough and tough antagonist who will do anything to get his way. Although BW had that too, but it wasn't N, it was an old guy- I suppose he's the true antagonist not the young man you met but whatever. Although the problem with Diamond and Pearl is that it is not nearly as interactive as BW. I don't have a favorite but I think this is the one fatal flaw in DP.

BW replace Pokemon contests with Pokemon musicals, you do not earn ribbons like you do in DP, but be careful as it can still can be addicting Pokemon musicals blow up the dress up part of Pokemon Contests while adding (obviously) a musical twist with dancing parts and pokemon competing for attention the best looks.

I suppose the Pokemon Black and White characters are more relatable if you are older. I am 15, so I can imagine myself in their shoes much easier than say a 10 year old. Although Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have their good sides too.

The problem with Pokemon BW is that although they have some awesome pokemon- people maybe put off with others strange appearances- you can get older pokemon so I really don't see how that is a problem (although I love Oshawott so I may have a little more of a bias to these games).

The Problem with DP is that although many people have them, the main craze is infact the newest games and therefore they are sometimes thought of only as "carriers' I suppose of different pokemon that they can not part with or will transfer later on.

I have had both Pokemon Black and Pokemon Diamond and I love to them to the fullest. Look further into it and you will find one that matches you, my fellow pokemon trainer. ^_^ I am not sure if you are getting both version of the same generation, or if you're getting one of each, or if you're getting one overall- but in either case remember there's nothing wrong with poking one over the other because of the pokemon differences and wanting the pokemon you love (that's what trading is for).

I would like to add one last thing: do you have pokemon heartgold or soulsilver- I notice you didn't mention them, maybe you have them already? If you do that's great. I would simply get pokemon form someone else who has Pokemon DP and than get Pokemon Black and White and if you don't that's okay. Again trading.

Well i would say black and whitethere much better much more pokemon,strategies,moves,etc. So What are you waiting For?! Get your Pokemon Black or White Version, and start your adventure Now! I highly recommend Black and White. Diamond and Pearl might be nice but Black and White Wins! Hope I helped! :D

Black and white have 3D effects and animated battle sprites. As far as plot/story line, Pokemon games never do very well, but I personally prefer the black/white story line. As far as Pokemon available, more is better, right! Black and White have something similar to contests, but not the same.

Well Diamond and pearl is pretty mch the same as black and white. Black and white even tho they have new pokemon they are very close tonthe original pokemon...the only thing good about black and white is they have more legendary pokemon is tht they have lots more legendary pkm:) hope inhelped

they r two different games totaly! i wouldnt even compare them! because black&white has new pokemon, new moves, new area! plus, its a new adventure! so to answer your ?, they should not b compared! totaly different!, personaly, if you want a game that keeps you buzy ALL day, and has contests, then get white/black! i got white, but i heard good things about black. its totaly up to u!

it has better graphics, but the new pokemon have stupid names and are sorta stupid. the gameplay is definitely better, because there's a longer story. get platinum, or soul silver and heartgold.

If a girl sees you playing pokemon black or white, than the chances of her talking to you are the same as if you were playing any other version of pokemon. (That is, none.)
