Witches do you know your doing evil by manipulating or controlling someone?

Controlling someone is a big no no in our beliefs! Hence why we don't do love spells to get the guy/girl we want.

I think you'll find that most witches DO use our knowledge to ''do stuff''-not many ''conjure up spirits to do our bidding''

While "witchcraft" is a very general term, plenty of witches never "conjure up spirits." As to whether or not they are evil, that is your *opinion*.

Also, a great number of witches would never attempt to control someone, either because they think its impossible, unethical, or both.

You reap what you sow is a pretty basic premise in the ethics of many witches. It's also common sense.

Yeah, I really don't do much "conjuring up of spirits" (I think you are confusing Witchcraft with Ceremonial magics and sorcery). I DO use my own knowledge to "do stuff" and to affect the world around me and I am well aware that I "reap what I sow". That's how magic works. I sow prosperity, I reap greater prosperity. I sow health and healing, I reap greater health and healing.

I work with certain energies that have "personality", if you will. Perhaps this is what you think are "evil spirits". They are no more or less evil than mankind. "Evil" is a judgement call, pure and simple. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter and all that.

Perhaps you should educate yourself further on your target prior to lambasting it.

Witchcraft isn't about conjuring up spirits. I am using my own knowledge to do stuff. Witchcraft is a set of skills one studies to become knowledgeable in and puts into practice. It draws from nature and psychology, and is worked with one's own energy, one's own focused will and intentions.

The herbal teas/remedies and aromatherapy candles and such that are a result of my craft have nothing to do with anything supernatural and cannot control anyone.

I am well aware that the only person I have any control over is myself. I follow a very strong code of ethics, without having to have the fear of "hell" to do so. And yes, Witchcraft practices work largely with the Law of Attraction, a concept which has been taught in various forms by various spiritual systems throughout the history of mankind, including Jesus' teaching of we reap what we sow.

You see, what folks like you think witches do with their craft, is completely different than what we actually do.

You are making uneducated assumptions about people you don't even know anything about. Please don't judge all real witches based on all the online scammers and frauds out there...we are certainly not the only group that have folks misrepresenting us on the internet. Also, the Salem Witch Trials ended by 1693...hows about you step into the 21st century with the rest of us? If you don't wish to learn anything about what modern-day witchcraft actually is - that's fine, but then you have no reason to discuss it or lecture people about it or pass judgement, considering you have no real knowledge of or experience with it. Why not just mind your own spiritual business and leave others to do the same?

Manipulating and controlling is not the way. Those who think it is are not doing right by anyone,and yes will reap what hey sow,that's their problem as well their choice. They affect nobody,but themselves. That being said to all those in all walks of life that do wrong what goes around comes around. As well all is not correct in what you have stated,but people think as they choose and do not always understand or know what hey are talking about,and the wrongs in life are not always done by who you label witches.

You obviously don't know anything about witchcraft. Witches live by the three fold rule. Whatever bad you do, it will return to you three times as bad. Witches aren't able to "control" people. They control energy. Not all spirits are evil. It'll be easier if you research instead of comming up with assumptions.

All witches are different both good and evil which either way it's all evil some witches are controlling and mean some are loving and kind but it states in the bible all witchcraft is evil or any form of sorcery n divination white or black. ProudEvilWitch

Boz, the hallmark of a newbie or someone that thinks it's all like it's shown on TV and in the movies will act that way. You are not talking about legitimate witches.

LEGIT witches abide by a code of ethics, they have morals. They will NOT do anything to anyone without their permission. There are only two exceptions to this--if you're sending healing energy to someone for their body to use, and if you're protecting someone from a stalker or pedophile. Nothing else gives you permission to 'harm' anyone or interfer with their lives.

Yuss, we are all horrible evil people because we work with the earth and spirits and such, actually if you know anything about modern day witches, which i presume you dont because your still under this veil of lies spread about us in the first renaissance which we still have to deal with then you would know that we do not do things without peoples wishes because it flouts the rede, which is one of the main and only laws we live by, stop reading and believing everything you say on the internet or you hear from your local catholic preacher, not all of them feel the same about us granted but clearly you are judging us by what you have heard, try talking to an Actual witch to get the answers you seek, not someone who thinks we are sinful. that is all.
