Just try IMing him once. If he still doesn't respond he's probably not interested so just let it go.

I think the dude was pretty clear. If he didn't message you back, he's not interested. The first response may have been to be nice, because hey, he's a nice guy--and no one likes rejection. If you're quite sure you won't see him again, that's really all the convincing you need. Yes, anything else will be considered stalking. Do you really want that label following you around for the rest of your life, not only on Facebook but legally? There are tons of guys out there who'll want to get to know you. Go find them.

Also, think of it as if it was some dude who message'd you and you didn't return further contact. Why? Because you didn't want to "get to know him that way." Would you want him to continue trying to contact you? Of course not. Respect this dude's right to choose who he's interested in. His profile on Facebook doesn't mean he's fair game anymore than you are for the advances of just anyone.

If you like like him and are never going to see him again you should not bother but if you like him just try to make a reason to talk to him.

You definitely should because if you do embarrass your self its not like you will ever see him again. Right? so go for it you'll never know until you ask anyways.

I think you should just moe on. Trust me, you don't want his last memory of you to be an awkward one. Just leave it like it is. You don't want to regret anything.

stick up for youself and just write it. I do the same thing i look away from my computer and wait for a response. do it if it's your last time :)
