Which shampoo should I use with stained hair to retain color?

I heard that a non-sulfate shampoo is the best, but I'm not 100% sure. Anything else I should know?

    I've also heard the same thing...that "SULFATE-FREE shampoo" is the best for dyed hair. You can experiment with any shampoo that is labeled specifically for use on COLORED hair.

    That's true. Non-sulfate is the best you can use. L'Oreal tends to be sulfate free.
