I've been running for the past 3 days straight. I run 1.2 miles everyday. My times have been 12:21:87, 11:25:54, and today 11:22:22. I've noticed today I was slowing down. Is this normal? How can I get myself faster? I need to be able to run 2 miles in 15:36. That's the military's standards in order for me to receive a score of 100. I'd also like to run a 5k sometime in the future. I'm just starting out on this so any advice would be great!

I was looking to make potato candy but I only have canned potatoes. Can I use them instead of a real potato?

I've had this little white thing on my lower eye lid for a few years now. I know it's not a sty because I get them also but I always manage to get them to go away. This is just a small white bump on my eyelid and it won't go away. I tried popping it and that didn't work either. I don't know what it is. Any suggestions?

Okay, so I play the trumpet (Not a trombone, as google keeps showing me) and I usually use cork or slide grease to lubricate my tuning slide (correct me if this is the wrong thing to use). Well, I lost the cork grease but I have some chapstick handy.

Is it the same thing?

Are there any negative effects of using it on my trumpet?

If you know of any, are there any 'recipes' for 'homemade' grease?
