Why is Norton not letting me go to my Bank's site?

Norton has decided that my bank's web page (a Federal Credit Union, mind you) is high risk and will NOT let me go there.

Update:

No, link is NOT from any email. Link was found by Google, and has been in use for some time with no problems.

Update 2:

The site is southwestfinancial.org

Open up Norton, and access the firewall settings. Find the ignore list for the firewall, and choose to add a website, to let Norton ignore. Add the name of the website onto the list, and select apply and then press okay.

First, Norton doesn't have any idea how upstanding a citizen the web site's owner is, it just knows that something's amiss with the IP address.

Second, I HOPE you're not trying to make that connection via a link in an email "your" bank sent you, particularly one that encourages you to log in immediately to take care of some important business. That could well be a phishing site trying to get your bank login, not your Federal Credit Union, no matter what the email says.

    Hope that helps.

I don't think it's Norton that's doing that. It could be your browser whenever you delete your cookies and history.

"Phlebob" is spot on regarding 'them' contacting you via e-mail.

Also, "banking Trojans" mimic website appearance (Google "Zeus Trojan"), but have actually modified your 'hostfile' (a bit like your personal Internet phone book) so that what you're actually going to (via the URL) is a faked bank site set up to capture your log in info.

I'd be very careful if I were you...
