PUBLICITY PUBLICITY PUBLICITY! promote your channel anywhere and everywhere you go, i would Post videos repeatedly on facebook, myspace, etc. At school/work tell your friends, they will show their friends, etc.

You can pay money to have youtube promote your videos, but keep in mind, just having a promoted video won't necessarily make you popular. You still have to have good, original content.

I doubt there's any magic formula for this that works 100% of the time. My advice would be to invest in good equipment and keep your material original.

The video has to be high quality, original, and it has to be funny enough that people will click on it and watch it, then send the link to their friends to watch.
