Movies: Shawshank Redemption or The Green Mile?

Shawshank Redemption - i totally dig tom hanks and david morse, but I dig morgan freeman and tim robbins even more. both films are absolutely wonderful though and both have a deep meaning behind them. both films have some awesome nature Cinema in them also. I love nature Cinema in films. great motion picture of beautiful trees and whatnot especially with emotional music behind them. for example in Shawshank when Freeman is walking through the fields to find the box that was buried by the huge tree.

I just love simple things like that in Cinema. and both were extremely moving films emotionally speaking. but Shawshank wins for me.

Never seen The Green Mile but hard to beat the Shawshank Redemption!

Green Mile

Shawshank by far. Its easily one of the greatest movies I have ever seen and will remain so for the rest of my life.

The Green Mile was all right but it was kind of out there. I really don't know how else to describe it.

Tough call but ultimately I'd have to say "The Shawshank Redemption".

Its got a simple brilliance about it and portrays an excellent story of life inside prison, the nasty parts and the more beautiful parts.

Tough decision, love them both, but would have to go with The Green Mile
