How do you get rid of lizards?
My cat loves to hunt bugs. Well, she's more like a kitten. She hasn't been taught by anyone that when she catches things, she should eat it. Our family recently moved into a house that is surrounded by 3 vineyards; as well as lizards, spiders, ants, birds, and snakes. She has tried to catch birds (very unsuccessful) and shes brought in many "delicious" bugs. But now her new thing is alligator lizards. She carries them by the stomach hanging out of her mouth. Alive. And she brings them inside and drops them in the kitchen, our shoes, under the bed, and anywhere else that looks appealing to her. We go through this big hassle of chasing it around the house, sweeping it up, and walking down the street to release it. But it's getting out of hand. It seems like everyday we go through this process. We need a way to teach our cat to either leave them outside, or to not get any at all. If it is even possible.
Thanks! ;)
She doesn't mind water. This might sound strange but: she actually likes it. She loves running through sprinklers and even tries to jump in the shower...

how about keeping your cat inside? theres no need to let it go outside to terrorize lizards. wouldn't it be ironic if a coyote or bobcat got ahold of your cat and killed it? that would only be fair

when she brings one inside spray her with a spray bottle with water in it.
