    Antivirus = avast free

    antimalware = malwarebytes

    spyware/adware = superantispyware

    firewall = comodo

    go to http://download.cnet.com/ and just copy/pase those into the search bar.

    Extra security:

    Sandbox: http://www.sandboxie.com/

    firefox 4 + WoT addon + adblocker plus addon is a good combo.

    Adding some/all of these will definitely help with your security, they are all 100% free, 100% legit, and work really well. you need more then antivirus, as everything is not a virus you know...

    But, 100% guarantee no malicious things enter your computer = common sense

    If you want free then I recommend Avast , superantispyware and Malwarebytes. coupled with Comodo firewall They are all free for personal use . It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly.
