Amaryllis plant did not flower last year or this year.?

PLant did flower other years. Twice one year. Have separated 5 bulbs from "mother". This is the 2nd yr. for little plants. No flower stakes but lots of leaves. So how do I get them to flower? Or do I compost them & buy new plant?

Update:

Winters are cold enough because plant has flowered other years.

Where do you live? The winter must be too warm. I live in Maryland. In October, after the plant turns yellow, I move the whole pot to the garage. After Christmas, I move it to the kitchen and start watering. Flowers form in about a month. When it warm outside, I move it outside. I have the plant for many years.

Wild wager of two-3 extra years. this relies upon on how lots photosynthate the plant has been waiting to shop over the transforming into seasons. undesirable easy or undesirable watering or infertile transforming into media = longer time to flower.
