Jehovah's witnesses a question?

So if only 144,000 people will be let in heaven as you believe. How does it work? Is it a raffle? Is it done by how good you were? If the latter is the case im pretty sure there have been 144,000 people who have been better then i have. Mother Theresa is a prime example.

Update:

Ok so you guys are just adding on to what i said. I am asking how they are picked? Is it by who is doing good stuff for others or as was answered a raffle. In the case of the raffle how much do they run? and can i buy more then one ticket?

Is the number 144,000 merely symbolic?

The answer is indicated by the fact that, after mention of the definite number 144,000, Revelation 7:9 refers to “a great crowd, which no man was able to number.” If the number 144,000 were not literal it would lack meaning as a contrast to the “great crowd.” Viewing the number as literal agrees with Jesus’ statement at Matthew 22:14 regarding the Kingdom of the heavens: “There are many invited, but few chosen.”

Do all good people go to heaven?

Acts 2:34: “David [whom the Bible refers to as being ‘a man agreeable to Jehovah’s heart’] did not ascend to the heavens.”

Matt. 11:11: “Truly I say to you people, Among those born of women there has not been raised up a greater than John the Baptist; but a person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is.” (So John did not go to heaven when he died.)

Ps. 37:9, 11, 29: “Evildoers themselves will be cut off, but those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth . . . The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”

The apostle paul said that God's spirit bears witness with our spirit. As was stated, Jehovah chooses. It is between that person and God. If you ask them how they know they are chosen they will tell you that beyond a shadow of a doubt that their hope is heavenly. It's the same way that I know without a doubt that my hope is earthly. As for purchasing tickets as you mentioned, you should know that you cannot buy your way into heaven. Money doesn't matter to God. In fact, in the book of Revelation it says that during the Great Tribulation people will be throwing their money into the streets because it will prove useless.

The Heavenly Kingdom is made up of 144,000 ones that Jehovah has chosen and the rest of

mankind will live on the Earth in the Kingdom to get a chance at real life.

We will be able to see our loved ones that have passed in death.

I was told by a JW that is you are one of the 144,000 "you just know it." So anyone can be one but the rules change on that as well. Supposedly the last of them were alive in 1914 and before they all died off the end of the system would happen. Now that its almost 100 years later the org is changing that tune. I wonder if any are around on YA!?

The scripture of revelation did not tell us the qualities of the 144,000 but the sprite revels to them that there in that group. But it's direct that they must be spiritual minded and have the Frontage of the Spirit

JWs believe that 144,000 people go to heaven that are chosen by God. They will rule as Kings, priests, and judges over mankind on earth, in a paradise condition where 'death will be no more'. Its on there website...

They believe in two class "christianity" ( they have their own definition for what christianity is ).

They believe 144 000 will go to heaven ( certain class aka heavenly class ) and all the other Jehovah's Witnesses are earthly class and they will reside in the paradise earth.

They do not believe hell is real.

They have another Jesus and another gospel, they are false christians.
