I can't compose mail in the new Yahoo Mail?

I am having the same issues! None of the browsers on my Mac (Chrome, FF, Safari, Opera) works. I can see, read, delete emails but cannot Reply, Forward or Compose. Tried it on my Windows 7 on the same connection and it works on IE (so my network settings should be okay), but again doesn't work on Chrome or FF. Tried all troubleshooting methods suggested by Yahoo (reboot, restart, disable add-ons, clear browser data and everything else) to no avail. I have temporarily fixed this by reverting back to Yahoo Mail Classic. It may not allow you to go back to Classic Mail but if you change your display setting to a lower resolution that what is needed to run the new Yahoo it will give you the option to go back. But that doesn't solve the problem that Yahoo hasn't been able to deliver a stable Mail after so much of beta testing and the worst is that they are forcing people to opt for this crappy 'New Mail'. The response that I got from their help desk was useless as well, just reiterating what is already written in their help section. I've been using Yahoo as my primary email for a long time now but I've started changing that to Gmail. Hope Yahoo does something soon before more damage is doen to its already falling reputation.

Unable to Compose a Yahoo email message when using Google Chrome browser, but it works okay on IE. Specifically,Compose is layered under the Contacts and Notepad icons, and if I try to click on Compose, it opens up my Contacts list. However, Yahoo Mail's Compose function works fine using Google Chrome on our other computers. As far as I can tell, every other function works okay on my computer when on Yahoo Mail (w/ Google Chrome). If I revert to Yahoo Mail (Basic), Compose works okay using Google Chrome browser. This is getting old real fast, and I've not seen any solutions listed when 'searching' this issue. btw - switched to McAffee protection recently due to numerous pita issues using Kaspersky.

I can't compose or forward in yahoo mail and when I click the icon to go into where you could change back to the old mail it won't let me in there either

Some here, my old account is working fine but I wanted a new one for specific people or groups. I can get emails and sometimes reply but I cannot compose. We need someone to do something about this and soon. I have been with yahoo for a long time but if this keeps up I will have no choice but to make a change.

I`ve been using Yahoo since forever and I have just made a new email address. I`m unable to compose messages, however, I can do it using my old address. As weird as it sounds, I can compose messages using the old Internet Explorer but I can`t do this on Google Chrome or Mozzila Firefox. I`m really looking forward to getting this fixed ... You better do something or u`ll lose a bunch of people

I also can't compose email now. If I can't do that, I too will have to switch email providers. I've been a paying customer for years and years, but they are about to lose me if they don't fix this.

Can't compose a message smoothly, typing is faster than it appears on email which gets choked up and a dinging sound, skips & stops.. I spend so much time going back to fix, it is not worth it, and use a different account to reply & compose. Am using IE on WIN 10.

And now it will not allow me to submit this question to yahoo community. FRUSTRATING

I just got home and am having the EXACT same problem. This is CLEARLY not an isolated incident that some BS 'troubleshooting guide' is going to fix. YAHOO needs to fix this problem which, if you search Google for past 24 hours, MANY people are having.

I can't compose on Yahoo email either and sporadically cannot reply either! What's going on?
