question about recurring sequence of numbers?
I have a wierd question about a recurring sequence of numbers that I'm always noticing around me and it has to do with my birthday but my birthday isn't really my birthday. I keep noticing the numbers 1007, I see it either in prices or on clock faces (whether it's a regular clock or digital) or on odd items in stores, at auctions,in all kinds of places and things. I was an adopted kid (I'm 52 now) and I found my birth mother, she claims I was born on the 10th of october which would be 1010, but I still keep seing 1007 all over the place and it just drives me bonkers.....I'm wondering if theres' any significance to this string of numbers or if I'm indeed "just freakin nuts". I've already spoken to a shrink about it and she just sluffed my observation off and said it was an obsessive subconcious thing and not to think about it (which I'm doing here) hahahahaha!!!!....I'm interested in hearing any ideas anybody has about observation theories.....I've heard about this kinda thing before but I didn't give it much wieght......So go ahead folks.

That's called the confirmation effect. You see hundreds, even thousands of numbers a day - times, license plates, prices, etc, and you forget most of them instantly. You're remembering when they appear to have some significance to you and forget when they don't. It's very common, but not paranormal. Your brain is built to look for patterns, and that leads to a lot of false positives like patterns that have no meaning.

Numerology is any belief in divine, mystical or other special relationship between a number and some coinciding events. It's an occult science that I consider fascinating. I started to study numerology because of my obsession with Mathematics, Geometry. What I discovered it's really incredibble.

Okay well, I can't tell you exactly what the sequence of 1007 means for you- that is for you and only you to figure out. I can however give you my insight on recurring sequences of numbers in people's lives. They are very real. Hell, extremely real. You are not nuts. Believe it or not millions of people go through this stuff everyday. I have a strange connection to the numbers 7:14, my mom has always had a very strange connection to the numbers 11:11. One of my best friends also has the weird connection with 11:11. It seems to be all around me- all around everyone. MY suggestion; when you see 1007- take a minute and pause. Just feel all the energy around you. Try to get SOMETHING out of it. Try to understand what it means for you in your life and what someone might be trying to tell you. Just try. And don't go to a shrink for this kind of stuff, go to a psychic if anything. A shrink is paid to tell you that your crazy.

Everything that happens in life has a numerical number. Life is all mathematics. Look into numerology to see what each number means. Then you will know what life message that 1007 is trying to tell you in your life.

it is in the form of Geometric Progression(G.P.). it's common ration is 1/2 it's common member in in analytical and recursive form is a (r)^(n-1) where a is the first term(here 100) , r is the common ratio(here 1/2) and n is the number of the term

It's sheer coincidence and I wonder how many OTHER numbers you see all the time that are NOT those....
