When you come to visit someones house is it a good or a bad thing to steal from them. Someone told me that everyone steals is that true?

I know people that would steal stuff from my house right in front of my face. They try to confuse me and just steal everything I have. I never do that to them and their things. When I try to tell them that I don't like that they accuse me of having Dementia. I don't want to make a big deal about all of it, because other than that they are a nice friend to have. If they would just tell me they wanted something I would give it to them. Lost as how to tell people to put back what they took without asking and looking like a nut.
