Horse-Meat for People to Eat?

There is a lot of stuff that I don't eat. This will be another of them.

If you are turned off by it for some ethical reasoning, you may want to review why you find eating a horse wrong but not a cow/pig/chicken.

Personally if i was a meat-eater, i'd be for any type of meat. The only reason we place X animal over Yanimal is social constructs, horses are cute gentle animals we ride around & care for. Cows are food

We use a horse for riding from yard to yard and it is more useful than a motor vehicle. So how come we make meat on such an innocent animal. I suggest no horse meat. I love horse more than me.

If people can get past the stigma it would be good food to eat, with plenty of taste and parts quite lean.

There has been debate about it for years, and is available in Canada and Mexico, but I think it is prohibited to bring it across the boarders into the US.

It is popular in parts of Europe, including France.
