If you can't afford car insurance, then you can't legally drive. If you can't legally drive, you can't...?

If you can't afford car insurance, then you can't legally drive. If you can't legally drive, you can't get to your job. If you can't get to your job, you lose your income. How is this fair????

Man, I feel you pain I'm paying $300.00 a month for my insurance, and get this my car payment is only $168.00, while working 6 days a week, and managing getting the honor roll. I just graduated high school 3 days ago, this scheme is a grand hustle thats all it is, when your insurance is worth more than your car, theres something wrong. I've payed out $7,000.00 of my own money to my insurance it's all a hustle, theres nothing to it. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, even with the good student discount, and no bad driving record, they charging me $300.00. I see that I'm not the only person anymore with this problem :/

I've been surfing the internet more than two hours today looking for answers to the same question, but I haven't found any interesting debate like this. It's pretty worth enough for me.

If you don't have car insurance and get into an accident that harms another person and they don't get compensated for your f**k up how is that fair? Your insurance is for everyone else's person/property that you can't afford to fix after you've destroyed it in a car accident.

Take a bus. Ride a bike. Walk. Get a ride. Taxi. Subway. Get a new job.

It is unlikely, no matter how much one complains, that state law will be rewritten to allow for uninsured motorists on the streets (regardless of the reasons). People do not like getting hit by foolish drivers that cannot pay for the damage they have caused, state legislatures are also lobbied hard by the insurance companies (far harder than the lobbying of unemployed people without car insurance), and federal highway block grants require such laws by the states (which few states are likely to give up). It is simply a matter that requires a work around.....despair is not a fix. Ride the bus.
