Waffle maker not browning enough, even with "ready" light?
So, this might sound like a "dumb" question...but oh well! :P
So we have this waffle iron...this one:

And, it's the kind that you flip, but, it's not browning the waffle enough, & it barely tastes cooked. I can't find the manual, but if I remember correctly (which I don't think I do) you're supposed to flip it right after you pour the batter & close the lid. Then you just flip it right-side-up & take it out when the green light goes off. BUT...it's not cooking the waffle as much as I'd like, even on Maximum power/heat. I tried leaving it right-side-up til the green light goes off, then flipping, but that didn't seem to work either. (Oh, & I did use the cooking spray.)
Someone else have this kind of waffle maker? or know what I'm doing wrong? I swear I'm not a "bad" cook, I just forgot something ;) Thanks!!! =)

When the green light goes off, the baking cycle is just beginning. When it comes back on again (for the 2nd time), then you flip and retrieve the waffle.
In my source, I am listing the web link for the instruction manual for your model of waffle maker. The website for many companies will provide the manuals on line in PDF form for you. :)
