What is a good book on Analog Electronics for beginners?

My knowledge of details of semiconductors is less, long story short, I'm a beginner and am pursuing electronics engineering. So please help if you can indicate any good book or source. Thanks!

its hard to say whats good for one may be too hard for another. what is your level, have you dealt with analog electronics before. I would go to a local college or university and get there electronic book and read it or barring that buy a high school electronics book if there is a high school hat does electronics that would be great start..

I was also look at some analog electronics for dummies ... no I dont think you are a dummie I used one for programming myself it wasnt overly helpful but it gives some equations and stuff and examples that can prove helpful

'Success in electronics' by Tom Duncan. This covers analogue as well as some digital electronics, practice excercises as well as easy to follow theoretical and technical info. It's aimed at a-level and undergraduate level students and has lots of easy to follow diagrams and text as well as relevant equations etc and practice questions so you can test your understanding.
