1. In Arabic Jihad means "Fight against the struggle" and not "Holy war". Anyway, for the argument sake. Now if we think Jihad mean fight for the cause of God then Jihad actually started with the Bible!

The Jewish soldiers were commanded by "God" in the Bible to keep the woman children (little girls) for themselves! In addition, they commanded to kill every woman that hath know a man by lying with him. My question, HOW THESE SOLDIERS IN THOSE DAYS KNOW IF THE GIRLS ARE VIRGIN OR NOT? Simply they verify it by raping them and if the Jews discovered that they are non-virgins then they killed them as they commanded by "God". BUT THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS IS THAT THE BIBLE IMPLY THAT GOD IS A PEDOPHILE HIMSELF! God of Israel is a Pedophila?

Christians and Jews don't proactively kill because some people don't believe the same way as they do. The Bible has violence in it, but we learn from history and "The Church" in general has undergone many reformations. Most significantly the 'Separation of Church and State.' I believe it is time for a reformation in the religion of ISLAM...to abolish the SHARIA LAW which punishes people who don't think like them or have the same belief in a singular ALLAH. Who else thinks a Reformation is in order here? well? It probably cannot happen because the Quran is Political. Maybe they cant change their book, but the free-thinking Muslims should be able to decipher violence from love and genuine concern for ones neighbor. Islam as a faith is probably okay so long as it doesn't not affect others violently. My friends are who they are and I can't hold their faith against them, just as they do not hold it against me. Coexist is a good thing, but not if one takes up arms against another.....thats no coexisting, thats just hate.

The Bible contains historical wars and violence, the past, so that mankind learn and do not repeat it. That is one of the messages of the Gospel. Agape-love your neighbor and build world peace (Luke 2:14), that the message the Bible is teaching the world. If someone does violence, it is against the teachings of Jesus and un-Christian like. The agape-love teachings of Jesus is the highest in quality and quantity exemplified by Jesus and His prophets/apostles. It is called the Golden Heart or Supreme Golden Rule because agape-love comes from inside as part of our nature instead of simply following a rule out of fear.

Name the top five humanitarian organizations in the next one minute, and study their history, and you will find them all of Christian origin, such as the Red Cross and Salvation Army. Thus your facts bear the truth of the Bible benefits to the world.

The Quran such as jihad chapter 9 is currently still active command, at least as viewed by quite a few Muslims. That is why we see so much violence around the world by Muslims such as in Sudan.

It's actually irrelevant about the thickness of the volumes in their present form(s). You'd have to compare the ORIGINAL documents, and given that they were written in different languages, and by different authors with different sized handwriting, it would be virtually impossible to measure between the two as to the actual "size" of the books.

What's more important is asking which group uses their book to promote and act out violence against others today? The answer to that is radical extremist Muslims.

Your conclusion makes absolutely no sense. Muslims do not believe in the Jesus of the Bible, since the Jesus of the Koran was only a prophet.

"13:15 Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.

There is no violence in either.

Some can choose to interpret verses in different ways.

Some verses are slightly abstract, while others may take it literally.

I am not saying that Jesus said that but whoever wrote it pointed toward him.

It isn't a question of which book has more violent verses. What matters is which religion seeks to emulate those violent verses in real life.

The Bible is the word of God. The koran is the word of Mohamad. There are many things in the Koran that came from the bible. Mohamad even mentions that he is the comforter. The is why Jesus says take heed that no man decieves you, for many shall come saying I am christ and shall deceive many. Many are decieved. The Koran says that it comes to confirm the words of the bible yet in contradicts that by denying that Jesus is the son of God.

I only looked up the first two examples Shine gave, and the first one was completely inaccurate. Second of all, how many "extremists" do you see amongst Jews? There's no violence among themselves, only to protect their tiny country in the midst of enemies who are far richer and who have more soldiers. There is no way that you can look at the world and honestly say Jews/Christians are more violent. How often do you hear Christian movements going out and killing people? How often do you hear Jewish movements going out and killing people? NONE! Because they don't. The Dark Ages occurred, yes, but that was Catholics, NOT Christians (and for those of you who say they're the same, they're not, do some research please). Even extremist Jews and Christians don't act out violence, Jihad is something acknowledged BY MUSLIMS that means a struggle or fight against the non-believers. Anybody who actually pays attention to the news will agree. There's civil wars constantly, domestic violence occurs amongst 56% of Iraqis, beheadings just for not being an extremist, torture even amongst other Muslims, ISIS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! LOOK AT ISIS!!! When do you hear about any other mass murderings and brutality amongst ANY OTHER religion??? You just don't. ISIS has managed to stay in headlines up to multiple times a month this year, and for those of you who say, "Well ISIS has nothing to do with religion." Then why is it that their goal is to establish an extreme caliphate (a government ruled by religion)? Why is it that they are killing Shia? Why is it that they are killing Jews and Christians? Oh, it's because their Quran tells them to. So it is settled: It is clearly in the name of religion, making Islam #1 for violence!
