So what things has Uncle Sam done to keep us safe since 9/11?

Since 9/11, the United States Government, through our armed forces and our intelligence and law enforcement professionals, has succeeded in preventing any further attacks on the American homeland. This is a major achievement. By turning away from the policies that have kept us safe, by treating terrorism as a law enforcement matter, giving foreign terrorists the same rights as American citizens, launching investigations of CIA agents, cutting defense spending, breaking faith with our allies and attempting to appease our adversaries, the current administration is weakening the nation, and making it more difficult for us to defend our security and our interests.

well he tried the patriot act which the technically uncunconstitutionalretapping of suspected terrorists, he has beefed up airport security and fought a war in afgAfghanistan try and eliminate the terrorist threat. UnfUnfortunatelyl of those efforts are pointless and money wasting. Terrorism will always happen no matter what we do as a nation. Things we do will make people in other cultures angry even if we do not understand why. So basically your government will never be able to protect each indindividual matter how hard they try, take your safety into your own hands by taking self defense lessons, and always take short connecting flights because terrorists aim for planes with a lot of fuel because they make a bigger boom.

obama has kept the patriot act going, don't ask don't tell and alot of other stuff, not to mention give china all our defense secrets. thats how and that has kept the peace not to mention kinetic military actions in the middle east, wich are not wars
