My seedlings keep turning brown?

I've been growing some simple plants with my cousin for his bio class, using a plastic bottle greenhouse, and it all looks good to a point, then it turns brown. Not sure if it's dead or this is normal. Any ideas?

Not normal at all. Green is normal, brown is dead. Something is going wrong inside your mini green house. I bet it is too much heat trapped inside the green house. If the sun shines through the window, the inside of the green house can reach several hundred degrees in a short time.

Once the plants germinate, take the top off of the green house and let the air circulate.
