Need graphics card better than onboard graphics?

i dont currently have a graphics card im using onboard graphics .my onboard graphics can cope with games like sims 3, black ops medal of honour on low settings with playable framerates(average 29fps) so i wanted a graphics card that can play these game on medium -high with higher framerates (low budget)

    For $54, buy a 9800GT. It's a 256-bit GDDR3 512MB card with 112 Cuda cores.

You'll get over 40fps on both game on med-high settings.

Make sure your power supply can handle it. Check the sticker on the power supply. Under the heading "+12V," make sure there is at least 18A. Also check to see if you have a 6-pin power connector (cable from your power supply). It looks like:

If you meet the power requirements but don't have a 6-pin PCIe connector, then you're going to need a molex to PCIe connector that looks like:

It relies upon on which Intel it truly is, and which nVidia it truly is. as an occasion, x3000, x3100, x4500 will run video games reasoably properly on structures with adequate ram, in many circumstances approximately equivalent to low grade nVidia enjoying cards. remember, although, that the later intel GMAs are PCIe, so as that they do have an facet over undeniable previous PCI.
