What diet does a large sagittal crest imply?

THe sagittal crest is the place where muscles join to the skull. The muscles are jaw muscles. Large sagittal crests imply strong jaw muscles. Which would be needed for chewing.

Does this neccessarily imply wether a specimen with a large sagittal crest is a vegetation and nut eater or a meat eater?

    Nope.

Male gorillas have a large sagittal crest, and are mostly vegetarian. You would also expect to find strong jaw muscles in a species that is predatory and delivers a one-bite-kill, or that chews on bones for their marrow.

Need more information. But,large molars are for grinding hard objects. Strong jaws are for holding tightly whatever is in the mouth. The sagittal crest shouldn't have anything to do with diet. Both prey and predator have on occasion a sagittal crest or stripe. If the primate had fangs the diet would lean toward meat. I think the primate described is an omnivore. The key word in the question is "suggests".
