Books About Child Abuse?:(?

I read A Child Called It and it broke my heart inside. Im going to read the next one. And I read 3 Little Words, A Long Way Gone, The House on Mango Street (well not really child abuse but...) and Sold. I love reading these kinds of books because its so impressing when you see how they turned out. How some of them are able to look back and forgive the people who hurt them. How theyre able to tell their story and be like I survived the pain and suffering. Im 15 and i cant stand it when i turn on the tv and see the Casey Anthony case (i live in orlando.) but anyways books like those?

**and they say a child called it was the 3rd worst child abuse cases in california. what were the first 2?

Update:

Oh yeah and i read The Color Purple.

Try 'Ugly' and 'beyond ugly' I'm sorry I can't remember who wrote them, but they are true accounts of a black American woman (unless Im getting confused with another book - it's a while since I read them) They're the only books like that I've ever read but they were really good and powerful and with an inspiring ending. :)
