Do you believe that in a civilized society it's necessary for people to be two-faced?

Yes, I agree that if everyone went around saying what they'd very well pleased, life would be more chaotic. I don't think you need to be "two-faced", but you just need to know when to keep your mouth shut.

I find it better just to not say much at all, because most of the time, whatever comes out of my mouth someone disagrees with and they try to start a fight with me, which is something I could do without.

it is hard for some people to handle directness. so people u can be honest with. but very few because they r not hopnest with themselves. if a person cnt be honest with them selves who can they ne honest with, sometime being frank in our society as coming across ans being a jerk, but if u know that is basily how they r and u accept it then there is possible this sociiety will change.

sometimes when you say what is in your mind, it may be too harsh for the others.

so having two faces may help you to tackle people.
