Do these names go well as siblings?

I am about to publish a book but I have had some (interesting) feedback about the names not matching. When my mom named me she didn't care if my names matched my brothers so I just figured that this mom doesn't care if her kids names match either.

1. Faith Filana (12) - Twin sister to Destiny. She is the oldest.

Destiny Lillian (12) - Twin sister to Faith. She was born a few seconds after Faith.

Filana and Lillian are family names after their great aunts who were also twins.

Olive Da-Xia (8) Her eyes are olive colored. Her middle name is an acknowledgement of the Chinese part of their heritage.

Lauren Rachel (4) Lauren is named after two of my friends who died. Lauren and Rachel. I have considered honoring them in a different way.

Please be honest but not mean. Thanks.

Update:

Oh, I forgot to mention Destiny almost always goes by the nickname "Tiny".

And, I'm planning to dedicate the book to their memory so yes, they will be mentioned. :)

I'm always honest, and I hope I'm not mean. :) Congratulations on your novel, that's fantastic! My best friend is just getting her first novel published too. Okay, names.

I love Faith. Though I think Destiny may be a little too matching? The sibling names overall don't match, but I think the twins' names are very similar... You could have another virtue name to match Faith, but maybe not so obvious? How about Faith & Grace? Harmony, Serena or Serenity? Juts some ideas.. Destiny is a little too... common for me. Just my taste. :) I love the middle names! I might swap them to make them flow better, Faith Lillian and Destiny Filana. Love the meaning behind the middle names. :)

I'm not crazy about Olive Da-Xia, it's a little out there.. I've always loved the Chinese names Cho (means butterfly) and Zhen (means treasure)? And Olivia has always been one of my favourite names, close to Olive? Or Oliva

Lauren Rachel is perfect. The personal meaning behind this name is touching. Of course you would write this in the acknowledgments, yeah?

No, the names do not match. But yes, they go perfectly as sibling names. :) Good luck with your book! Can't wait to come across it in a bookstore- I'll recognise the names instantly. :)

I think that Faith and Destiny together as twins is kinda cheesy. I think they are both lovely names, but I don't love them together. I prefer Olive and Lauren.

There is nothing wrong with those names. I can't see the issue. I knew a family they all had very tradiational african names apart from the youngest (who was born in UK - she was called Michelle) her name didn't go with the tradition of the family but it didn't matter...
