My son's name is Eric. Plain and kind of boring because his father wanted a name that began with the letter E so they could have the same initials. I really loved the names Landon, Aiden, Ian, and Tyler, but nope couldn't have any of them! I especially wanted to have his middle name be Albert, only because my great grandfather had recently passed and his name was Albert, but still I couldn't persuade him. So now my son has the usual not so exciting name Eric Anthony. Oh well.

My husband rejected Hannah, Eleanor, Maya and Kayley, although he might have given in on Hannah eventually. His background is English and he wanted a classic, traditional English first name. I'm glad now that he didn't like Kayley because the name has become too common and there are too many trashy spellings out there.

I wanted to name my daughter Zipporah. It's a Biblical name, and I thought it just sounded beautiful. Plus, I thought nicknames like Zee or Zip were precious, haha. My husband did not agree.
He really liked the name Nidria. I'm still a little convinced that he only swore he liked it to get back at me for coming up with such an off the wall name like Zipporah (in his opinion) so he he had to come up with a name equally as awful in his opinion, haha.
In the end, we went with Rose. Don't ask me how Zipporah and Nidria compromised themselves into Rose!

I love Emelina, too.
I wanted to name my daughter Brooklyn "Brooke", but my husband wanted the middle name to be Gianna. Brooklyn Gianna. We decided to get rid of both of the names off of our list and we found other names for our twins.

Our Second child was supposed to be.
Ethan Scott But we were surprised by HER...
Erinn Kinsey is now almost a young lady.
We had multiple DRs and RNs say she was a boy even pointing out the "anatomy" heck she was a breech baby and they saw some thing that wasn't there.
Anyway... love her.

I wanted to name my daughter Stevie Nichole after my favorite female Singer, Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac but my husband would not have any part of that. We had to name her after his mother.
I love the names Stevie Nichole, Hannah Marie, TaNaya Lynn, Ebony Leigh

I love love love Alexander.
My bf/future husband and I were talking about names for our future kids and he said no to it because his little sister's middle name is Alexandra, and he doesn't want to name the kids after any of our family.
I'm still trying to persuade :D

Well, I do love my children's names. I secretly always liked the name Siri. My husband didn't really hate it, per se but it is hilarious with our last name, so it was a no.
His suggestion for a girl was August. A BIG no from me.

Well I wanted my daughter to be called Naomi Leigh because my grandmother's name was Omie Lee, but my bd didn't like it. His name is Mario Jerel and he wanted her to be named after him so her name is Samara Jernay, I do love the name it has grown on me but I always wanted my 1st child to be named after my grandmother I was hurt :(
I just feel like it wouldn't be the same feeling naming my 2nd daughter Naomi Leigh because I wanted my 1st daughter to be named after her.
My son however will be called Shemar Lee no matter what lol
