Any relation between ruling regimes and Islamic laws in the Islamic world? Seems so.?
Strange indeed, how a domino effect seems in motion, since the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions began to rock the Arab world. Several Islamic sacrosanct laws have been defied and openly demanded ammendment of and sometimes even abolishment. Look at Saudi Arabia now, where women are on a daily rendezvous with violating the law against women driving. Look at this headline on Yahoo homepage: "Iran's intense crackdown on fashion. The Islamic morality squads expand the watch list beyond women's headscarves".
The question goes for Muslims rather than others. Will Islam withstand dramatic ammendments or abolishment of some of its basic laws that rule daily life? What credibility will Islam retain once so many of its basic laws are reconsidered and adjusted or annuled? In short, what is it that will keep Islam standing?
It's a fact that Islam is now under a serious test of authenticity. Many see that the strict legislations of Islam (some of the Shari'a laws) will no longer be accepted or be able to coexist alongside the kind of information boost which has had a crucial role in stimulating and organizing the current uprisings in the Islamic and Arab world. I wonder, just how many Islamic laws will manage to survive an Islamic world that's growing ever more liberal and perceptive to the new ways of the world.

Fear will keep islam standing, just as it has for 1400 years.
The fear of being killed for leaving, the fear of brutal punishments for trivial crimes, the fear of a hell that is described frequently, in great detail, and even gleefully in the koran.

Islam is failing and the downhill slide has begun.
It was doomed to fail when it was made up by Mohammad bin Abdullah al Muttailib; because one thing he forgot was that all the World will not be fools enough to allow his madness to prevail.
Now, the Muslims will face the brunt of what's coming to them in retaliation of all their centuries of misdeeds and massacres.
The Movement to Stop the Spread of Islam is growing everywhere and the World is now gearing up for the Final Conflict.
It's only a matter of time before it all explodes and we find ourselves in World War 3 of the rest of the World against Islam.
Muslims are beginning to see this and say it's the End of Days coming, though the fact is that it's going be that only for the Muslims. The rest of the World will suffer massive losses, but, in the end, the madness of Mohammad will be stopped.

God will keep Islam standing.
Everything that is going on is a sign of the end times.
Corruption, revolts, etc.... is a sign of the end time.
The Muslims are fighting against oppression and tyranny.
The Egyptian victory motivated their Muslim bothers to step up too.
It is a beautiful domino effect, actually.
