Drop shipping houses...where do the shipping costs come in?

I know the profit margins are not high etc. I am just curious... do the wholesaler's cost include the shipping cost of the product? Thanks in advance. :)

Update:

I think I need to be more clear...I know HOW drop shipments are shipped. What I need to know is when, in the ordering process, I would know how much it COSTS for the drop shipper to do what they do. Is that cost included in the cost of the item, or am I told later? I need to know this before naming a price or minimum bid for the item.
