ashley young joins united?what do you think?
is it a good deal for united?we already have 4 established wingers and cleverly who can also play on the wing.
i think we will just buy a goal keeper and not buy anyone.SAF is either incredibly smart or incredibly stupid to buy young.
why this is bad news
1)we already have so many wingers, nani might have to sit on the bench and he's much more talented than young but not on the left
2)the problem area was the midfield.we required a playmaker midfielder not a winger,we already have valencia to rip in passes but who the hell will get the ball to valencia and young?
3)scholes has retired and we needed a midfielder like him best choice would've been sneijder not a winger
another big player coming in is impossible we already would've spent 50 million
why he might've been brought in
1)nani could play in a better position instead of the left where he is not comfortable,SAF might use him as an attacking midfielder or in a position simmilar to what ronaldo played.along with valencia on the right and young on the left
2)he might give a chance to young under rated united talent like tom cleverly, ravel morrison and paul pogba all of whom are midfielder and are very creative and can shoot the ball very well
3)giggs had played centrally in some games and made very beautiful passes and this will be his last season and park has hit 31 and will start to slow down young is a perfect successor for giggs
4)young has proved himself in the league with 11 assists and 7 goals last season(bale had only 4 assists or something i cant remember)

Couldn't agree more with John Kyaw.As much as Nani can be devastating,he can prove to be inconsistent just like Berbatov, although he had his best season by his own standards. We do need consistency on the flanks - and the willingness to help our full-backs - and Ashley Young provides these.Giggs is also 38 this year and may expect to play a bit-part role come August.
Carrick was above average at best, mediocre at worst last season. Moreover Fergie has awarded him a new deal and thus wouldn't want to sell him.Anderson has also started to realise his potential.Plus like what you've said,Giggs has also played well centrally. Thus Fergie may not see the need to buy a new CAM.
Of course we may not satisfy all the first-team players as those players have to train hard at Carrington first before claiming a stake in the first team spot.Plus Fergie may also have a tendency to rotate every now and then. However we've got no time to satisfy those who don't even want to prove themselves on the pitch(Bebe and Obertan, take note).

This kind of transfers make Sir Alex Ferguson different from other stupid managers or owners like Kenny Dalglish or Roman Abramovich.
United is always unique and we have a very strong vision which other teams hardly have. Remember the time when we bought Cristiano Ronaldo? People were laughing at us when Ronaldo couldn't match Beckham for first few games. As time went by, he became one of the finest winger at United and perhaps the whole world.
Remember Vidic and Evra? At that time others were laughing at us saying "What is the point of buying unknown defenders when they already had fine defenders like Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville?" Now, Vidic and Evra are also one of the best defenders in the world.
My friend, Man U do not buy players just to win games. We buy players to make history, plan for the long-term. We are the only team which is the most patient regarding the players.
I believe Ashley Young will surely make a difference. Even if he can't make a difference, someone will because Man U will always maintain their tradition.

Yes. Indeed. Ashley young makes a big difference in the midfield. There will be serious competition among wingers. This lad has grown tremendously. I don't see any problem why he shouldn't be signed. Sir Alex has confirmed that there will be atleast 4 signings. You can't expect 4 signings to be GOALKEEPERS.!!

While Man City and barca are going crazy for Sanchez 40million and above race.....We bought a quality player within 20million ......isn't it a great deal... of course it is man
Anyone and everyone :Your mind knows better than anything
Note: Sanchez is good , but i mean the money and quality comparison

LOL i remember when Liverpool Claimed to have this guy in the bag....... Major fail
But really I think we should lay off the scousers, It's been a hard year i mean come on, theyve just missed out on 2 great players, lost their spainish poster boy, thay've lost theyre record and arent in Europe for another year.

Depends, who you letting go...
And by the way, somehow the ghost of LFC still and always will haunt Man United.
Younger blood is needed. Hope De Gea signs too. Welcome to Phil Jones as well.

me too, i dont want youthful to connect united, park is a lot extra ideal than and plus i presumed cleverly can play on the wings too. we could of purely save that money and use on sneijder or sanchez
