you can call him and try and apologize and work things out but same thing happened to me and after four days i never heard from him again untill a month or a few months later when i already had a new boyfriend then he apologized and said he wanted me back but i found someone better that treats me right and cant be with out me and were still together now<3

This could mean he's waiting it out. Perhaps hoping YOU would make the first move. If you do, and his response is not what you hoped it would be, then he's most likely not interested in continuing the relationship with you.
