Technically speaking, agnosticism, and most atheists are technically "agnostic atheists" if you use the strict definitions of each term.

"Atheism" is the complete lack of belief in any Gods. "Agnosticism" is the claim not to definitively know if there is any God.

The majority of atheists (by a very large amount) don't claim to have 100% absolute definitive proof either way- in fact, proving anything to that standard would be just about impossible. Based on the evidence that is available, however, they conclude that God does not exist. If the evidence were to change, so would their opinion.

This combines elements of the two, and does include agnostic elements. If you had to choose between one or the other, agnosticism is slightly more reasonable, in that you can never definitively prove either way, although current evidence very strongly indicates there is no God.

In my opinion I'm an agnostic atheist. We can't really prove there is a god, but we can't disprove it either. There are some questions you can ask yourself like why did god create us since he is self-content; meaning he doesn't desire, feel any loss, or have any sort of motivation. But science can't really explain evolution; it is said that every complex organism, has a common ancestor; the simplest bacteria. But where did the bacteria come from? Everything has an origin? Religion explains everything but if you analyze it, it doesn't make any sense. Science makes sense but doesn't explain everything, since there are a lot of gaps in our knowledge.

Neither makes any sense in my book -- The Holy Bible. They really aught to give it a try with an open mind and an open heart. God cannot be cheated, nor questioned, nor even made to wait. Time is running out, and the flight will wait for no one at zero hour.

Atheism. ie the non-belief in a maker. Anyone claiming to be a Agnostic Athiest is Agnostic plain and simple. People who say I don't believe but i could be wrong are idiots who are still a bit scared they may have to believe in a man in the sky to get somewhere.

The fact is there is no god.

Atheism. There's no point sitting on the fence. I mean, is anyone undecided about the existence of Barack Obama, or Darth Vader? Not really. God isn't special in that way.

It doesn't have to be one or the other. You can be both. Assuming they are separate though, I'd say agnosticism because it's more open-minded and you are more likely to find a religion for yourself.

To me the line between the two is very hazy. I say I'm an atheist but I also say a god could exist, I've never seen anything or heard any convincing arguments to his existence. So does that make me agnostic?

Agnosticism. Atheists stubbornly dismiss the idea that there is any power higher than human beings simply because they cannot reach out and touch God. Agnostics admit there might be something higher than us, but don't concern themselves with it because they cannot see and touch it. That is a huge difference.

I would have to say agnosticism. There is far too much evidence in the world and universe around us that intelligence had to play a part in how life and this universe came to be. It is foolish to not at least acknowledge the possibility even if you're not sure about it. JMHO.
