How come I didn't see anybody swimming at the beach in key west.?

    key west beaches arent great for swimming..smathers beach is actually a man-made beach and most of the water is very seaweedy and yucky..fort zachary state park beach is another popular beach there nut it is too rocky/pebbly

    Which part? Some parts are pretty secluded and other parts are very touristy. Bahia Honda is very touristy and I see lots of people there all the time. Or maybe there are sharks :P
