What can you do to get the bank not to sell your house?

...a friend of mine is going through a tough time. And they don't have any credit since they went bankrupt a couple years back, so I don't think they can get a loan. Anyone ever had to go through this? What did you do?

    A little late to do anything now, other than pay all the back payments and late fee. The only thing to do is start packing.

    The only thing they can do to stop the sale is to pay off the mortgage.

    Nothing they can do but start packing. They are in a home they can afford.
