Where can I get food grade barrels in Washington?

I am making a compost turner and I need a big 55-gallon food grade plastic barrel. I was hoping to just have one donated, but I am having a hard time finding anyone who uses them. The only place I've found so far is a car wash, and I don't want to use those because they have soap and toxin residue in them. Any ideas?

Get one from the car wash and wash the inside with clorox, rinse thoroughly with water and set it in the sun for a few days. That will leave it spotlessly clean!

Seems like on amazon just buying a 55 gallon composter will cost you 100+ dollars , if you want to use a plastic barrel from the wash maybe you can line it with some garbage bag or plastic liner on the inside so it doesnt matter what toxins are in the container, just have to make sure its sturdy and won't tear.

Check your local craigslist listings for FOOD grade barrels.

I have found them there for as low as $10.

Do not use one that has ever had chemicals in it or it will add chemicals to your composter.
