Can someone please help me find vegan hiking boots?

I've looked all over the web but I'm not having any luck finding any that aren't made with suede or leather; does anyone know where i could find some? :/

These even have vegan in the name.

Unfortunately they're not waterproof. There is a waterproof model of the shoe (Kiowa vegan XCR) but it seems like everywhere is out of them. Garmont's website says that there is a newer version of the boots, but they also seem to be out of stock everywhere.

These are also leather-free (and waterproof!), but only available in limited sizes on all the sites I've looked. Hopefully they'll release a new model soon!

I just bought a pair of great, vegan hiking boots: http://www.rei.com/product/754666/merrell-moab-mid... The description says they have leather uppers, but they don't (its a synthetic leather.)

    Other options:

(Sandals but work for hiking) http://www.rei.com/product/811417/chaco-zx1-yampa-...

Also you could buy a pair of second hand, or thrifted hiking boots. While they may be made of leather, their not creating any more demand for leather. Also, you might already know this, but leather is a by-product of the meat industry, animals are killed for their meat, and the leather is left over. Instead of going to a landfill or being wasted, some leather is used to make shoes/hiking boots. Leather is actually a more environmental material than fake leather, or new materials. (Just a different perspective, I personally can't stop envisioning a sad cow when I use leather, but that's just me.)

    Hope this helps you! :D
