What would be the harm in having a portrait of Jesus on our dollar bill or whatever?
This would perhaps be a good way to pander to the Christians and their ilk... Can I get some agreement on this?

Shouldn't the portrait of Jesus be on the three dollar bill?
I support having a portrait of the Flying Spaghetti Monster $100 dollar bill.

To many that would imply that America is a Christian country. Though they are the majority this would infringe on the idea of freedom of religion.
Besides, from what I learned recently that face we recognize as Jesus is claimed to be of Cesar Borgia. I have to admit that the resemblance is striking.

Yeah, we could mix it up though. Maybe Jesus on the $1, Mohammad on the $5, Shiva, on the $10, and so on.

I'd be fine with it, as long as the little name tag underneath said "Imaginary Magic Jesus."
:)
Peace.
p.s. since nobody knows what imaginary magic jesus looks like, would the portrait be of typical white-European looking imaginary magic jesus?

Because not everyone in the US believes in Jesus. It would be a stupid idea. Separation of Church and State, anyone?
