If you have any blank cds or flash drives, save it on there.

Do a proper backup of ur iTunes and keep a copy of that iTunes backup file. THEN make sure u keep a backup of all ur music as well on a hardrive or wtvr. The backup of the iTunes is most important tho so u don't lose ur apps or wtvr. Tell me if it works.

there's a new "purchase" button on itunes 10 where the songs you purchased before stay on your account and you can download them again :)

you can either copy all your music to an external hard drive from itunes or copy the music from where you have it saved.
