Does the NASCAR community have a problem with...?

Atheists and/or democrats. Now, I know not all NASCAR fans are Christians or Republicans but I'll assume that the majority is. I personally am both an atheist and democrat. Do you think there's nothing wrong with that or do you think I should stay out of NASCAR? I would honestly like to hear your honest opinion. Not trying to start any debates or arguments but I'm just curious. I personally have no problem at all with religious people or Republicans, just the ones that hate on atheists or Democrats and please no Anti-Obama answers. Thanks.

I'm an Agnostic Libertarian. I have no issue with people having imaginary friends unless they insist on killing each other over whose is better. As for politics, Republicans are too far to the left for me. I've beem a member of the NASCAR community for years, & see no real prejudice to either. Yes, there is a majority of god-fearing conservatives, but they don't seem to give the other camps any grief.

Well, you took out all the fun with the no Obama jokes. My thing is with that is, I voted for the s.o.b so I can damn well throw a few zingers in every now and then. Very funny how Obama ordered the hit on Osama. God Bless our military men and women, and a special thanks to Seal Team 6. Yeah I know are government denies that you all even exist (kind of like Area 51), but I sleep a little better at night knowing that these True American Bad Asses exist and are willing to double tap anybody who F's with the US.

Ok, got off track there but, as for the community having problems with Atheists and Democrats, I doubt it. I am sure some of them do but they are probably a very small portion of the bigger picture.

  • Conservative Christian Republican here. I really can't understand, with everything going on in the world today, with the many natural disasters, and the rise of perversions and the spiked interest in the occult...how some people can't see biblical prophecy coming true. I guess if one doesn't believe in God...then one wouldn't care to read the His word. Ignorance is bliss (for a season anyway).

I would rather live my life believing that there is a God and dying only to find out there isn't....than living my life not believing and dying only to find out that there IS.

I have friends who are atheists...democrats...etc...who love NASCAR...and we have a lot to talk about. As far as their beliefs are concerned...I will let God be their judge.

Well, I'm an independent with Democratic leanings, and I'm a NASCAR fan. Of course you should stay in NASCAR, or people like me will have no one to hang out with.

I'm Canadian, and I certainly have felt welcome by the NASCAR community. Considering we have a left-wing reputation (Of which I fully support) no one has ever seemed to care. I don't go throwing it out there for the heck of it though. If someone asks about my accent, or if they want to talk about it, fine, but no need to try to start something. Generally, a big enough bond is just being a NASCAR fan, hahahaha!
