Problem with my friends Sims 3?
So I'm trying to install Sims 3 on my friend's laptop but we're having a problem. Everything has been completely installed and when we try to play it we get an error that says:
"Unable to start game
Device0 cannot run this title.
No supported video card detected. Please check your system hardware."
I know this is supposed to mean "Hey, you can't play this since you can't install a new video card on a laptop" but he got this laptop as Windows Vista but upgraded to Windows 7 and I think that may have done something to where it cannot be detected. If not, is there anyway that I can change the graphics of the game or make it so we can play the game on his laptop?

Usually only downgrading makes a computer unable to detect a hardware item. I once downgraded to Windows XP and it wasn't able to detect my Ethernet jack. It is possible that upgrading has caused that problem, but probably not. Maybe your friend's video card just isn't good enough. But I do suggest find the driver software online and try reinstalling the video card.
