Are shaving razors (non-electric) allowed as carry-on luggage?

With all the changes to TSA and traveling rules over the last few months, I have to ask: are shaving razors allowed on the airplane in carry-on luggage? I shave with a Mach3 and was intending on taking that on a business trip. However I'd rather not trash it when I get to security. Will I be allowed to travel with that?

the razor is sharp, so no. no longer in keep on. The shave cream, convinced, it truly is below the load. in case you needed and also you would possibly want to come across a small length, you would possibly want to carry the hair eliminating foam that you do not elect a blade for?

Six answers before me and only one, trailblazer, actually knew what they were talking about. Yes you can, just went to Florida and back with my Mach3 in my carry on.

99% you can not! But if you want to try go ahead if they see it it's going to be garbage. I carry a small scissors and they didn't see it, another time I take to my son a real Iguana in a shoe box and they didn't seeit either.

i wouldnt risk it... they may claim that you could take the razor apart and cut people with the blade..

pack it in your checked luggage
