Does GOD have a soul?

We have no idea WHO or WHAT God is, so IF He exists, how do WE know He has a soul, or not?

Update:

Good catch! I meant the Christian one, sorry.

Update 2:

Instead of asking Him if He has a soul, I would first want to know how I would recognize Him if I saw Him, for no one has any idea what He looks like. Many people THINK they know, but since He's never been seen, I don't understand how anyone would know! Do YOU?

Update 3:

God's life has NOT been well documented! As I stated, many people THINK they know Him/It, but that is not TRUE, is it?

Update 4:

I see that no one really knows if He has a soul, or not! That is really strange, because I thought that true believers say they know so much about the Christian God, and they know Him quite INTIMATELY! If THAT is the case, then the answer should be easy, wouldn't you think? I also would like a complete description of what He looks like so I will know Him if I see someone who calls himself "GOD," as that would be very helpful, because I would not want to address a FALSE God, correct?

Yes. God, as to His essence, is spirit.....

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”

    John 4:23-26

He possesses a soul, for so we are told through the Prophet Jeremiah.....

"I (God) will make an everlasting covenant with them (the Jews) : I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul. "

    Jeremiah 32:40-41

The word for soul means simply "life." God has all souls, and He IS life. You can't see the Father; He is Spirit, and Jesus didn't sit for any portraits. The Holy Spirit is, of course, Spirit. But yes, you'll know Him. Of that I am unconditionally certain. If you want a physical description of Jesus after He ascended to Heaven, read Revelation 1, but remember that this description is metaphorical.

News flash Bubba. We all pray to the same God but call him by different names. God is the embodiment of all of our souls. If you want to know more about who God is, His life has been well documented - read.

There are so many Gods if you look at the different religions e.g Greek,Norse,Hindu. Maybe they have something that is even more powerful than a soul.

People can make an answer but there is no a reason. (This is your so-called free will.)

God can make a reason but there is no an answer. (This is your so-called destiny & chance.)

He has a soul. Perhaps you should try asking him these questions, you might just get an answer.
