What do I do about poison ivy?

I got poison ivy last year for the first time, pulling weeds. I think I found it this year, in and around my rose bushes. I have to pull all the weeds again. I'll protect my self for sure. Should I spray something before of after? How do I eradicate it? I don't want it back next year, I got kids playing back there.

The spray that kills poison oak also kills just about any other shrub you can think of. So use it carefully or you may have to landscape again.

When mixed with other shrubs, cut it all out, and then carefully spray the new leaves as it sends up shoots from the ground.

I noticed yesterday at LOWES there is a spray specifically to kill poison ivy.

I would not attempt to remove it, even after it is dead it can cause the rash and itching.

Some say even after washing clothes the itchy resin remains, so be careful

    and good luck.

well there is a lot of things that you can use to kill it. they sell it at lowes and home depot. you could also use bleach. pull it out with your gloves and then pour bleach on it.
