IRS Notification in my junk mail? this is a joke...?

Question

I got an email in the Junk section of one of my email account that I only use for like chat websites or YouTube, gameinformer stuff like that and the email is saying my tax return isn't filled out so it'll be locked, and I need to pay my credit card debt thing? I don't have a credit card or a debit, i don't think I've ever gotten a tax return cause I've had only 1 job for like, 2 months. Wtf type of spam is this?

    After you forward the e-mail and/or header information to us, delete the original e-mail message you received.

The IRS does not communicate with people via Email. Not at all. NEVER, nadda, zip, 0% of the time.

Bottom line, any email from the IRS is bogus and likely to be a scam. Its in your junk email folder because every email program with a half decent spam filter is programmed to discard anything that looks like its from the IRS because they know the IRS doesn't communicate with taxpayers via email.

Actually, it is either a scam, a virus, or something else like that.  It is not a simple joke or spam.  It is either any attempt to infect computers or an attempt to steal identities.

Oooh - that sounds like a calming activity! i don't get plenty direct mail as I have been given it blocked throughout the post workplace. that somewhat makes a distinction to the quantity of direct mail you get carry of.
