Yeah, sounds about right. The smaller engine needs to rev higher than a larger one would.

For your car, if the transmission is completely stock, then yes. It doesn't depend on what engine you have, just the gear ratios. Cars with less cylinders (such as yours) are usually geared lower because you car makes more power at a higher rpm range than a 6 or 8 cylinder car would.

Yes it is, and during idle, after you have warmed up your motor for 2-5 minutes, it should idle between 700-800 rpms.
