How to curve a soccer ball ?
I am 13 years old. I have Adidas F10- TRX soccer shoes. I have opened nearly every YouTube video relating to the topic. I also have talked to many people but somehow I just cannot manage to curve the ball properly. Guys, in your answers please don't write that you need practice or whatever. Please. I need expert advice. I am kind of short. Around 152 cm. 48 kg weight. People say that my shots do not go far(which they say is needed to get a proper curve). Please help me out with this one. I get up a 5:45 AM to practice. I'm a forward. I have given you every piece of information you might need to answer this question. So please please help me. Also I have trouble creating out swerve. Again, I'll really appreciate tips on how to strengthen my legs so I can hit powerful shots.
.
What I meant was that you shouldnt only write that practise a lot

Hit the ball with the side of your big toe.

Approach the ball from an angle instead of being from right behind it. And when you kick it. Kick it with the inside part of the shoe on the top (where your big toe knuckle is). Kick the ball slightly off-center (only slightly) and bring your boot straight out. Imagine the ball curving after you hit it. Because that really helped me. Also when you curve it, don't aim at where you want the ball to end up. Picture where you will kick to ball towards and where it will curve to. Good luck man! And how can you say "don't say practice"? everyone needs to practice, it's not like you'll magically get it on the first try! it took me a long time to get it right.

Hi Dude.
The Trick lies in the fact, where you Kick the ball and not on strength or anything.Look at peter crouch, his legs are thin but even he can shoot.remember for a curve to happen just try to hit wid ur big toe.at the inclination between the ball and the ground.perfect connection will result in a smoother stroke with curl and power.always try to hit wid power..keep practising, and yup ur using a good stud.before impact just make sure your toe is tight and whole of the body energy is flowing through it.

Ok so my first peice of advice is strengthen your legs. go to the gym and have someone teach you the proper way to do squats, find out your max and then do precentage training( which means like do 50% of your max to warm up and then go up 10% each time). also do leg press and other leg excercise. then when you do that for a while and build up leg strenght then you will be able to curve it easier and kick it farther. also get a strikerite ball and those show you exactly where to hit it. when you run up to the ball kinda run diagonle to it and the kick it with the instep near your big toe joint and follow through with your leg so it basically crosses your body. hope that helps and keep at it!!

Alrite, i agree with everyones answers but they forgot the most important thing!! YOUR FOLLOW THROUGH DECIDES IF THE BALL CURVES OR NOT!! look at david beckham, his leg whips across his body after he has struck the ball because that whipping follow through is what creates the curve. also find the valve on ur ball and aim to kick below it cuz the ball needs to rise and the ur foot should come across ur body as a follow through. look at some david beckham FREE KICK vids and u'll understand what i'm talking about =D
