I just started getting this when yahoo news switched to the new format a couple days ago. It seems to (mostly) go away when I sign out and read news signed out and come back when I sign back in.
Clearing cache & cookies does not seem to help. Browser is Firefox.
The error message also includes:
Cookie: more-news-sources=718=1895&7 < about 8000 bytes of junk >
It looks like Yahoo is trying to store too much stuff in a cookie.

Same problem here and haven't found a solution yet. Started on 6/27. Clearing cookies and tmp files didn't help. This pc is win7 and ie9 with all updates. I have another pc with XP and ie8 that doesn't have the issue

I'm having the same problem for a few days now. I updated my browser to IE9 to see if that fixed the problem. After 10 years with Yahoo, I am so ready to dump them because of this problem!
