I need a new camera that's good for concerts!!?

Question

Okay, so the camera I have now is an Olympus FE-5000 and it's absolutely horrid.  I mostly use my camera for concerts and things like that, but I also use it just casually.

Soo, I need help finding a good camera for concerts (concerts usually have like dark lights and stuff, so something with a good setting for that)
I need it to be very good quality, but also not more than $300...because I don't have that much money.

The only cameras that are capable of taking reasonably good pictures of a concert are the DSLRs and even then, you have to be close to the stage, if not on it.   And most concerts do not allow DSLRs to be brought in.   If you should be able to sneak one in, security could kick you out  or confiscate your camera and you would never see it again.

So point & shoot cameras which are in your price range are the only ones allowed in, if cameras are even allowed, and they are not capable of taking good pictures.   Why don't concerts want you to get good pictures?  Because they do not want you possibly selling them.  They want to sell their own pictures, and that's why they sell programs for you to buy.

So I would suggest you just buy a program for a souvenir, and then sit back and enjoy the concert.

Nikon Coolpix L120 is an amazing camera. I wasn't sure I was buying the right camera for what I wanted to do but this is just exactly what I wanted. It's amazingly easy to use, takes GREAT pictures, and the video feature is the best. I love how easy it is to record video with this camera.
